Hortobágy UNESCO National Park

 Seit 1999 ist die Hortobágy ein von der Unesco zum Weltnaturerbe erklärter Nationalpark mit einer Fläche von 800 km² in Ostungarn, der Teil der Alföld (Große Tiefebene) und das größte naturnahe Grasland Europas ist. Der nördliche Teil dieser riesigen Landschaft beginnt 34 km südlich von der Immobilie.

       Since 1999 Hortobágy is a Unesco World Heritage listed National Park of some 309 sq mi (800 km²) in Eastern Hungary, part of the Alföld (Great Plain), and the largest semi-natural grassland in Europe. The northern part of this vast landscape starts 22 miles (34 km) south from the property.

 Hortobágy bietet 342 Vogelarten einen natürlichen Lebensraum und ist ein Paradies für Vogelbeobachter. In dem touristischen Dorf können Sie das Hirtenmuseum, die Ungarische Handwerkerausstellung (Körszín) und das Csárda Inn Museum besuchen. Oder machen Sie eine Rundfahrt mit der Schmalspurbahn durch das größte Vogelhabitat Mitteleuropas oder buchen Sie eine Landrover-Safari, um die wilden Tiere zu beobachten. Ein Muss für alle Pferdefreunde ist das 300 Jahre alte Gestüt Máta. Die Hauptpriorität des Gestüts ist die Erhaltung der Gene und die Zucht der Rasse Nóniusz, die im Jahr 2004 als nationaler Schatz des Landes anerkannt wurde.

       Providing an natural habitat for 342 bird species, Hortobágy is a paradise for bird watchers. In the touristic village you can visit the Herdsmen Museum, the Hungarian Craftsmen Exhibition (Körszín) and the Csárda Inn Museum. Or take a sightseeing trip on the narrow gauge railway through the greatest bird habitat in Central Europe or book a Land Rover safari to observe the wild animals. Certainly not to be missed by all equine enthousiasts is the 300 years old Máta Stud. The main priority of the Stud is the gene conservation and breeding of the Nóniusz breed that got recognised as a national treasure of the country in 2004.

 Hier können Sie Zeuge einer spektakulären traditionellen ungarischen Reitershow werden und eine Fahrt mit einer Pferdekutsche in die Puszta unternehmen, wo Sie freilaufende Graurinder, Noniusz-Pferde, Wasserbüffel, Raczka-Schafe und Mangalitza-Schweine aus nächster Nähe betrachten können. Wenn Sie ein erfahrener Wanderreiter sind, können Sie auch einen Ausritt in die weitläufige Puszta zwischen Wildpferden und anderen Wildtieren buchen, begleitet von einem Führer.

       Here you can witness a spectacular traditional Hungarian horsemen show and take a trip with a horse-drawn carriage into the puszta where you will take a close look a free roaming grey cattle, Noniusz horses, water buffaloes, Raczka sheep and Mangalitsa pigs. Also, if you are an experienced outdoor rider, you may book a ride on horseback into the vast puszta among wild horses and other wild animals, accompanied by a guide.
